Q: How can I burn directly to DVD?
When you launch the showbiz DVD 2, the software will show you 5 options. Please choose the 1st option “record from video tape directly to DVD” and you can follow the instruction to choose your favorite design and to burn the video to DVD directly.
Q: How do I get MPEG4 format?
Please follow the following instruction.
- Please save your video to MPEG 1 or MPEG 2 format
- Change the showbiz from Live mode to Playback mode (or you may change to Edit Mode)
- Choose the file and drag or double click your left mouse button to your TimeLine table
- Choose “export” to the feature list
- Choose your prefer file format
Q: I converted a video and burned a DVD, but the quality was not that good.
Please check the resolution and the source. DVD quality requires better resolution “above 640X480”. If the recording quality is not good, the quality of recorded video will also not good. Meanwhile, when you record the video, please try to use better resolution, such as 640X480, to get better quality video clips.
Q: I only get a blue (or black) screen when I try to capture video (TVR)
Please make sure all connectors are well connected. The AV cable (Video/Audio) should be connected with your external device and with the DVD MAKER.
Q: I receive a message about new product information when I am using Showbiz DVD 2. Do I need to purchase an upgrade?
No. Showbiz DVD 2 is bundle software. You don’t need to pay any extra cost on this software. If you receive any message to inform you any update, you can feel free to do the upgrade.
Q: How do I select the file format for the video that I am capturing?
When you capture the video, a message screen will be popped up. You can choose the format you like. If the resolution is above “320X480”, you can only record the video clip with “MPEG 1” and “MPEG 2” format to get better compress quality.
Q: My USB devices "freezes" during USB update.
It is recommended that during any software update or upgrade not to connect your DVD MAKER or external devices to your PC . It may cause any un-expected problem if you update your software or drivers and your device is still connected.
Q: I have no sound on playback of recordings.
Please make sure if you choose the correct audio format during the video recording. The audio shall be “EMP Audio Device” while previewing the video.
Q: I installed the software, but it doesn't seem to work?
A XP / VISTA OS is required for the DVD MAKER. Please make sure the OS can fulfill the system requirement.
Q: I edited a video that I had captured in DVD format. How do I save what I edited?
When you finish editing your video, you can save this project from the “File” option on the left upper feature list column. You can save this as a new project, or replace current project. You can also directly convert this to DVD or VCD from “File” option.
Q: I cannot install the software / drivers
We strongly recommend the software and driver should be installed under Window XP / VISTA OS.
Please make sure the OS is XP+SP2 or above.
Q: What does the button on the box do ?
it’s a snap shot button. When you are transmitting video clips from external device, you can press the button and the Showbiz DVD 2 will automatically capture the image into file. Please note this feature can only supported by Showbiz DVD 2.
Q: I get an error when burning a DVD ?
Please write the warning message and contact your reseller or you may also post the message to our website to get more information and solution for the error message
