- Q: Access denied, write protect or disk error received when trying to download songs.
A: Check the small sliding switch at the bottom of the player. This is a write-protect switch. Slide it to the left to ensure that files can be written to the player.
- Q: My MP3 player is misbehaving.
A: Try resetting the firmware. Firstly, download the firmware here then follow these instructions:
Note: software such as WinRAR may be required to extract the firmware from the downloaded file.
1. Install the MP3 player utilities from the MP3Set1_45 folder on your CD
2. Go to 'Start/Programs' and find the MP3 player utilities group
3. Make sure your MP3 player is connected and run the MP3 Player update tool
4. Click on Select new firmware file and find the file MP909.BIN (which you extract from the dowloaded RAR file)
5. Click Begin Upgrading
This should reset the firmware on your device |
